After the four weeks of mobility, we organize the interview with the Slovenian students who did a hairdressing internship in the Lorient area. For the four students, it was a first in France, and they were already benefiting from practical experience in hairdressing! Thanks to the salons that accepted to take part in the experience: the four are delighted! Thanks to ERASMUS and the European Union who offers us their wonderful experiences; find here the testimonies of the Slovenians in Lorient through 5 questions!

Nezka – 17 years old – Laurent Coiffure, Riantec
1/ What did you learn during your internship?

On a technical level, there is not that much difference between France and Slovenia. So, I didn’t learn a lot of new things; it was mostly an opportunity to improve my technique! Something that surprised me was the breaks, especially for eating. In Slovenia, you manage if you have time, there are no breaks to take the time to do it.
2/ What do you remember from your experience in Lorient?

That there are a lot of bars, bakeries … ! And people are well dressed !
3/ What did you particularly like?

I would especially remember my tutor: he’s really nice! He was very welcoming and he took good care of us, it was great, I’m delighted.
4/ How do you find the organization?

It was more than perfect: everything was ready for us, it was good!
5/ Anything to improve?

Having more free time to discover the city: like working one day less, or adding a week just to be able to visit!

Ziga – 17 years old – Laurent Coiffure, Riantec

In the hairdressing salon, it’s basically the same; what changes above all is people’s way of life.
2/ What did you learn from your experience in Lorient?

The houses! They’re very different … and the flat roofs!
3/ What did you particularly like?

The food!
4/ How do you like the organisation?

Perfect!
5/ Anything you could improve?

Nothing, it was perfect!

Hanna – 17 years old – Chic Choc Coiffure, Lorient

2/ What did you learn from your experience in Lorient?

The guys are really cute! And I even got a rose offered to Rennes!
3/ What did you particularly like?

The whole town! Especially the bakeries … and the churches !
4/ How do you like the organization?

Perfect! Mary and Sebastian are very young, it’s great!

Maybe more time to discover the city.

Sara- 18 years old – Plurielle Coiffure, Guidel

I was able to improve my communication skills, to be able to talk with the team and clients. I loved taking the bus to work, it really changes the environment.

The vibe, people are more relaxed than in Slovenia.

The weekend in Rennes: the street of bars (rue de la soif!) is great, there’s good music!
4/ How do you like the organisation?

It was great!
5/ Anything to improve?

Maybe more days in Paris =p
