Engineering internship: Civil engineering in Italy. Welcome to you, future engineers! Doing an internship abroad is a real life experience not to be missed. And believe me, you don’t need to fly 12 hours to experience a new culture. Italy is a very touristy country with a different culture in every corner of the boot.
Do your internship in Rome
Rome, the eternal city. Possessing countless historical and tourist sites, it is one of the most coveted destinations. The Pantheon, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum… It will take a whole page to list all the monuments to visit. We, personally, are in love! (And the pizzas in Rome are so good !).
Do your internship in Venice
Visiting Venice is a must. But visiting Venice during your internship is even better! Discover the floating city while making friends with the locals and sharing their culture. Concerning the Venetian culinary specialties, I have a crush for the Ciccheti, which are Venetian-style tapas, to be enjoyed with a good glass of Italian wine. Delizioso!
Do your internship in Florence
Rome and Venice may have sent some heavy stuff, but Florence also has its charm. The Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Palazzo Vecchio,…, it feels like travelling in the middle of the Renaissance. For the record, more than 20% of the works of art listed as UNESCO heritage sites are in Florence.
Do your internship in Milan
Come and experience life at the pace of the fashion capital. The Milanese will give you a warm welcome. Talking and exchanging with a Milanese person is very special, especially because gestures are used all the time to communicate. I hope you like aperitifs, because in Milan it’s sacred!
