I am in Portugal, where can I travel during my internship abroad? And this is a very good question, if you do your internship in Portugal, you will have no choice: you will have to travel and discover the beautiful places scattered in the country, but also in the surrounding countries.

Amaranth in the North

Not far from Porto is the municipality of Amarante : This is a great place to explore to discover Portugal’s historical heritage. The architecture is remarkable and Amarante is easily accessible by transport.

Sintra

On the outskirts of Lisbon is Sintra, a town that is home to the eponymous parish that is well worth a visit. It is a U.N.E.S.C.O. World Heritage Site and is the place to be around the capital. Its point of view and its colours do not leave indifferent, I let you go to see on the web, it is breathtaking.

The medieval city of Óbidos

1 hour north of the capital is the town of Obidos. It was the gift of the king to his queen and I can tell you, what a gift! This medieval town is remarkably well preserved and worth a visit. You should also visit the museum, which is well worth a visit.

Morocco

For about twenty euros you can fly to Morocco! And then you’re not ready. Land in Tangier, the white city, and admire the Moroccan landscape from the top. Walk around the first port of Africa (and yeah!) and finally go hiking on the wild coast! Here is a good program!
