With its national parks and nature reserves, you can have a blast. But the Scandinavian country at large is also the ideal destination for an active city trip. Check out our selection of the country’s most fun cities

Stockholm :

The Swedish capital is famous for its canals: sometimes dubbed the Venice of the North. In other words, if you don’t like water, you’ll miss Stockholm. And you would be wrong!

Gothenburg :

In Gothenburg, located on the southwest coast of the country, calm down, relax and take time to live. It is the kind of peaceful and pleasant city that likes to stroll along the canals, sip a drink on Linnégatan, the prettiest street in the city, party with the best Swedes in Gothenburg. Go into discovery mode and enjoy a real place.

Malmö :

Malmö is a small city: in two hours you will see its main attractions. What I highly recommend is to take advantage of the footbridge on the site to get on a train to the Danish capital in the under 20s. Next to Malmö is also the small student town of Lund. A very nice place. Don’t go there aimlessly, but if you do, and at least take a tour to see it!

La région de Kiruna :

Okay, let’s get down to business with nature in Sweden. Kiruna is the first destination in the north of the country. In winter you can ski, watch the Northern Lights and many other fun things. Summer is the starting point for many people to take you to beautiful places in the heart of Lapland Sweden.

Skåne :

Geographically speaking Summer is like midday: it’s the warmest and sunniest region in the country. Explore its bucolic shores by bike, explore its many gardens, go see the Alès stone, travel its many rivers, … In short, you will not be bored in Scania: the area This Swedish has charm, you have to love it!

Dalarna :

One of the only regions in Europe where you can see reindeer. The landscape is made up of endless pine forests, picturesque rivers, snow-capped mountains and small towns among the hills. The best way to experience its culture is to drive from Strömsund, a popular canoeing center, to Vilhelmina. Storuman and Sorsele, on the other hand, have connections and buses, allowing people to visit some of the charming mountain villages near the Norwegian border. Lapland is an ideal place for hiking.

Swedish Lapland :

One of the only regions in Europe where you can see reindeer. The landscape is made up of endless pine forests, picturesque rivers, snow-capped mountains and small towns among the hills. The best way to experience its culture is to drive from Strömsund, a popular canoeing center, to Vilhelmina. Storuman and Sorsele, on the other hand, have connections and buses, allowing people to visit some of the charming mountain villages near the Norwegian border. Lapland is an ideal place for hiking.

Höga Kusten :

This idyllic region on the east coast of Sweden offers a serene place that includes fjords, high cliffs, quiet beaches and crystal clear waters. The High Coast is best seen on its beautiful hike or from the sea.

Trosa :

Here, no big skyscrapers or museums but a small marina, wooden houses, cramped rooms and above all a light and relaxed atmosphere. From here, you can take a boat to explore the surrounding islets, or choose to stay and enjoy an ice cream by the water after visiting the city castle.

Uppsala :

A vibrant university town with many cafes and restaurants, it also has a rich cultural heritage with distinctive traces of Viking history. Among the most interesting attractions are the Old Uppsala Museum, the castle and the botanical garden.
