TOP 8 of the most fun cities in Malta! This is it. This is the big start for your internship in Malta and you are now looking for things to do there. Don’t worry, your favourite team is here to guide you: Let’s go!

Valletta

You can’t pass through Malta without visiting the capital! We recommend you to take a walk in the famous Barraka (top and bottom) and take your best pictures. We also invite you to see the co-cathedral of Saint John which is well worth the diversion! Don’t forget to see the Manoel theatre, which is one of the oldest in Europe.

Rabat/Mdina :

These two neighbouring towns are worth a visit! Mdina, a typical fortified town where it is good to get lost is very pleasant to see. In Rabat, we advise you to visit the Domus Romana, which is an ancient Roman villa that has now been turned into a museum.

St Julian & Sliema :

THE TOURISTIC TOWNS in Malta! If you wish to chill out over a good drink we recommend the Paceville area of St Julian. The bay of Sliema is beautiful, you can even see Valletta from there so you can enjoy its beauty from afar. These are generally rather lively towns.

Mosta

The cathedral is worth seeing! You will see it from many places on the island. The Roman architecture is amazing. It is one of the things to see on Malta.

Marsaxlokk

This city is best known for its typical fish market! I’m sure you will enjoy the view from the luzzi (these small colourful, very photogenic boats).

A ‘last one’ for the road:

The Popeye village near Mellieha! Yes, yes it was used as a set for the film! Well, in real life it’s a giant amusement park, but if you like it I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! Now you already know a bit more about the “next door” during your internship in Malta. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you too are still looking for an internship 😉
