Discover the Nordic culture
If there is one advantage to doing an internship abroad, it is to discover new cultures. Become immersed in local customs, make friends with a people considered to be one of the happiest in the world. You can also discover the Viking culture with the Lofotr Viking Museum in Norway or the Viking fortress of Trelleborg in Sweden.
Work on your English
English may not be the main language in Scandinavia but the general level is very high. If there is a reason why Scandinavians are so good in English, it is because of their education system, which is known to be excellent! Scandinavians are aware of the importance of English in our world and therefore do not hesitate to support the learning of it.
For the record, Denmark has been considered the best English speakers as a second language in 2014. The same goes for Sweden in 2012 and 2013.
Many tourist sites
Let’s face it, the cost of living in Scandinavia is relatively expensive. But if you have the means, don’t hesitate to visit the most beautiful sites in Scandinavia! Copenhagen and its little mermaid, a little bike ride along the quays or the Tivoli garden.
In Norway, we not only have Oslo, the capital with its unique architecture, but also the magnificent Norwegian Fjords.
